Mason has been growing, growing, growing!!! Unbelievable! From 3 months - 4 months there have been SO many changes!!! He has mastered rolling whether it's from back to front or front to back. He now loves spending time on his belly and pushes up on his hands and arms! It was just weeks ago he would scream during Tummy Time while keeping his head glued to the ground! (In his defense... he has a BIG head!) He talks non-stop now! We have to take him to the daycare during church now he is just too loud with all of his sounds! He laughs and not just at tickles which he is especially when we change clothes... but believe it or not Mommy is funny, especially when she dances to Aerosmith's "Rock a bye Baby" tunes!! We are very interested in bath time now and water, we've even started splashing this past week! Every morning we find him on his belly and he is now as he's always been the happiest morning baby! He makes it easy getting up! All smiles for him! He loves reading all of his books and he even tries turing the pages himself now. He loves watching Mom and Dad eat and grabs at our food and drinks. He of course holds his own bottles, he seems to like controlling his feedings! And he will get upset when you take the bottle out to burp him! He still has blue blue eyes. No signs of green or any other color yet. And we are in talks of trimming some of his hair in the back! We tried giving him a few bites of rice cereal today for the first time, and it was a no go, we'll try again some other time!
His 4 month check-up was on Wednesday and he now weighs 16 lbs and 7 oz! Which puts him at about 80th percentile in weight and is 26 1/4" long putting him in the 90th percentile in height! He's a big boy! The doctor always asks how much he eats, and this time he said he should be getting about 25-30 oz per day, but my sweet Mason gets 6- 6oz bottles a day and he never turns any of it away! His day school says that he is such a good eater that most of their kids turn it away every now and then, but not Mason! Between Daddy's fast metabolism and height he burns it all off!
